Management team

Jerker is the founder of HHCS Handheld AB and is a seasoned veteran with close to 20 years in the handheld industry. Prior to founding Handheld Jerker worked for Husky Computers Ltd. as Manager for Scandinavia Markets. Before joining Husky Computers Ltd. he held a position as Product Manager with Dataloggers AB. Jerker´s educational background is in Engineering and Computer Science.

Mike joined Handheld in 2010 and brings a broad experience from worldwide organizations and different Marketing & Business Development positions to the company. Most recently Mike was employed by Merix Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards, as Vice President of Marketing. Mike has also direct industry experience from his previous role as Director of Sales & Marketing at Tripod Data Systems. Mike holds a Masters degree from Penn State and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from John Hopkins University.

Christer joined Handheld in 2011. Christer has deep experience in the world of finance and accounting, and has worked extensively with multinational enterprises. Most recently he was in charge of the financial department at Rettig Sweden AB. Christer also has experience in financial auditing and holds a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics.

Thomas has a broad experience from international business and joined Handheld in 2003. Prior to joining Handheld, Thomas has held key management and marketing positions in international growth companies. Thomas holds an MBA from Northern Arizona University and has Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.

Juhani is the Managing Director of HHCS Handheld Finland Oy. Prior to coming to Handheld, Juhani spent 17 years with rugged computer business in Finland as a Product Manager and a Sales Director. Juhani's long history gave him a lot of experience in the rugged computer business in Finland. Juhani's educational background is in Computer Science/programming and Business School.

Dale is the President and CEO of HHCS Handheld USA, Inc. Prior to coming to Handheld, Dale spent 5 years with Tripod Data Systems as the Marketing Product Manager for the entire line of the TDS rugged handhelds. Dale's position at TDS gave him a lot of experience in the market and applications for rugged handhelds. Prior to TDS, Dale has worked for 15 years in the field of GPS at several firms including Glenayre Electronics, Thales Navigation, Magellan, and Ashtech.

Leonardo is the Managing Director of Handheld Italia Srl. He explored the rugged solutions market since 2003 with his previous company Tecnoservizi. Leonardo worked for more than 20 years in test and measurement solutions in telecommunications and safety market before joining Wandel & Goltermann and then Acterna . He was responsible for geographic areas of the market and from 2001 he brought his experience in a growing company, Tecnoservizi. Leonardo's educational background is scientific and physics.

Peter is the Managing Director of Handheld Benelux B.V. Prior to coming to the Handheld Group, Peter co-founded eMpoly B.V., a Dutch company specialized in rugged hardware and mobile software for field services. Peter started his career with Carema Hardware. Peter has been a Sales Manager with this Dutch distributor of rugged handhelds for 3 years. Peter has got a bachelor degree in Technical Business Science and shares a great passion for the mobile industry together with the other Handheld Group members.

Christian is the Managing Director of Handheld APAC Pty Ltd. which represents Handhelds operations in Asia-Pacific with headquarter in Sydney, Australia. Christian joined the Handheld family via its International Management Trainee Program. Prior to joining Handheld, Christian gained experience from numerous international IT organisations. Christian holds a Masters Degree in International Business from University of Queensland in Australia. He also holds a Bachelors Degree in Business from Griffith University, Australia.

Andreas is the Managing Director of Handheld Swiss GmbH. Prior to joining Handheld, Andreas spent 24 years in the rugged computing industry in Switzerland as a Managing Director and Sales Director at Latschbacher. Andreas background has given him a lot of experience in managing rugged computing projects in Switzerland and Internationally. Andreas educational background is a master of Forestry.

Helmut is the Managing Director of Handheld Germany GmbH in Freilassing. Prior to joining Handheld, Helmut worked for 21 years for Latschbacher GmbH, a supplier for rugged mobile computers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. From 1995 to 2011 Helmut was Managing Director of Latschbacher Germany and from 2007 to 2011 also Managing Director of Abies ITS GmbH, a subsidiary of Latschbacher. Helmut's educational background is in electronics & electrical engineering.

Dave Cawsey is the Managing Director of Handheld UK & Ireland Ltd. Prior to joining Handheld Dave held senior UK, International and Global management positions for IBM UK Ltd, Husky Computers Ltd, General Dynamics Itronix UK Ltd and Touchstar Pacific Pty Ltd. Dave joined the Handheld group in 2012 with twenty-plus years of operational and sales experience in rugged mobility solutions and an engineering design and development background.
